Dear Reader,
It is with pride and excitement I announce that INK OBSESSED is now available for preorder on Amazon! And it will soon be available wherever ebooks are sold. Print will follow in a few weeks—paperback and hardcover, as always. As promised, here is the beautiful cover by Tim Barber at Dissect Designs. I hope you like it as much as we do.
I also promised last time to send a sample chapter. The offer still stands. Just email me at bruce@audacitybooks.com, and I’ll be pleased to send you a PDF of Chapter One. I’m still savoring my love affair with the INK characters. They’re contemporary New Yorkers—always my favorite people. I’m hoping you’ll love them, too.
On a different note, I was saddened to learn yesterday of Gloria Vanderbilt’s death. Some of you may remember my little tribute to her nearly two years ago. I’m still glad I got it written while she was alive and perhaps had a chance to read it (I know her jeans company executives did read it, so I hope they forwarded it to her). Those who are interested can find my tribute at audacitybooks.com/in-praise-of-kindness.
Ms Vanderbilt was a remarkable woman. She was born to privilege, of course, but on the edges of it—to the point that she spent much of her childhood as a pawn in a family feud. She survived it all—plus a full measure of other heartache—to build a substantial life in business and the arts. A life well-lived, I think. So I say, Brava!
Happy Pride!
Bruce
