Dear Reader,
Are there glimmers of hope on the horizon for a return to normalcy? Who knows? I’m trying to celebrate all the situations that are still functional in lockdown. Especially my marriage. And I can always write. And do. Maybe I can’t go to the gym, but I can still buy groceries and put dinner on the table.
I’m actually awed by the lack of interruption of the national food supply chain. I could ration toilet paper and still smile. Food? Not so much. And speaking of food insufficiency, I’m hoping you’ll enjoy my new novel, IT’S THEIR WAY. The arc of the story is boy-meets-boy, boy-loses-boy, boy-desperately-seeks-to-get-boy-back. The source of their conflict is systemic racism, so we’re treading on timely soil.
But the story is also about a group of talented, engaged, thirtyish New Yorkers who want to make a real difference in the world. And when they pool their energies to ease hunger, then sparks fly. My editor says it’s my best writing yet. I hope you’ll agree.
Volume 2 of my Tolerance Trilogy, IT’S THEIR WAY is available for preorder on Amazon. The ebook version will release on August 1. Print editions will be available in July. I’ll let you know the specifics. Thanks for joining me on this journey. No mask required. Keep safe!
