Dear Reader,
My pilgrimage to Provincetown for the holiday weekend was filled with inspiration and fun. And we also ate very well. A shout-out to The Mews (don’t miss the seared sea scallops), Ross’ Grill (very nice grilled halibut with lobster sauce). And for breakfast, Yolqueria (Cowboy Carnitas for me) and Café Heaven (for a Mexican-themed omelet with a drizzle of chipotle salsa that brings the morning alive). Lots of fish and shellfish, fresh vegetables skillfully prepared, caring servers, and even a local wine—a lovely rosé from Truro Vineyards. Many delicious memories!
It was a thrill to do my first book signing for YOU’RE SURE TO FALL IN LOVE on Sunday at Provincetown Bookshop. The women who run it—Nan, Deborah, and Nancy—were very welcoming and supportive. I send many thanks to them for their hospitality. Also, a big hello to Jeff, Mary, Steven, Norah, and all the other nice people who stopped by to say hello. And Steven, I do hope Nate enjoys the copy of my book you got him as a gift. I think that makes you a fabulous friend!
