Dear Reader,
I can’t say if it’s an age thing or what, but I have found great sweetness in recent years in returning to a place I love. And this Labor Day weekend was no exception. We just got back from Provincetown—our third annual visit. The city and its inhabitants were just as lovely as before. And the fact that my books sell better there than anywhere else is a satisfying plus.
And speaking of Provincetown, when I started Volume III—AND LOVE ENDURES—I had no idea the narrator would return to Ptown. It had never occurred to me that he needed to be there again. I knew some of the characters from Volume I would return. It’s only natural for a story to come full circle. But for Provincetown to become a vital character? Again? That was a great surprise for me in the writing. And I hope you will approve of the results.
Volume III is live on Amazon today. Ebook preorders are now accepted, with a December 1 release date. The manuscript is edited, and the cover only needs some finishing touches. So the paperback should be in proofs in a few weeks. And then, on to the hardcover! As always, I thank you for joining me on this journey.
